While I was building PekiTime for Solo Pros, I was also planning for my daughter’s high school years and thinking about how we were going to keep track of all those course hours.
Then I asked a homeschool friend how her high-schooler was doing it: write the hours on a calendar, then total everything in a spreadsheet. Whew. That’s another J-O-B.
That’s when I realized the PekiTime idea could work for homeschool families, too.
I wanted it simple enough for students to actually use and easy enough for parents to manage—especially when they’re keeping records for more than one child. And because these are our kids, I thought carefully about privacy. PekiTime collects only the student information it actually needs.
